Founded in 1948, the mill is a long established producer of Kurume Kasuri, one of Japan's representative traditional yarn dyed textiles. The fabric is known for its soft texture that closely resembles handwoven cloth. Because many processes are done by hand, it takes more than 30 steps and 2 to 4 months to complete one

Runs small good quality
Bought for my husband to wear to an event however was to tight in the arms. He has bigger biceps so this is not for someone who works out. It does seem to be a nicely made jacket for the price though. The material was soft, not many wrinkles. A quick light steam would take them out. The color was spot on from what the photos showed and looked great with the vest we purchased from the company. Layering was no issue with its weight. As always, returns were easy. Thanks Amazon
