medicube Dual-Textured Facial Pads for Exfoliation and Pore Care
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
If you’ve spent any time on skincare social media, you’ve likely seen these white tubs with bright blue lids. The Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is a cult-favorite K-Beauty staple designed for those who struggle with "strawberry nose," excess sebum, and texture. It isn't just a toner; it’s a mechanical and chemical exfoliant hybrid.
The Dual-Action Design
The "2.0" version features a pre-soaked, double-sided pad that serves two distinct purposes:
1. Embossed Side: Provides gentle physical exfoliation to lift away dead skin cells and debris.
2. Silky Side: Polishes the skin and hydrates, prepping the face for the rest of your routine.
The Pros: Why It’s a Bestseller
• Noticeable Texture Improvement: Within a week of consistent use, most users notice a significant reduction in "bumps" and a smoother surface for makeup application.
• Effective Sebum Control: It contains a "Pore Tightening Complex" (including lemongrass and mint peel) that helps keep midday oiliness at bay without stripping the skin bone-dry.
• Clean and Convenient: The tub comes with a secondary lid and tweezers, keeping the pads saturated and hygienic.
• The "Glow" Factor: Because it uses AHAs and BHAs (Salicylic Acid and Betaine Salicylate), it clears out the "gunk" inside pores, making them appear smaller and the skin look brighter.
The Cons: What to Watch For
• Fragrance: These pads have a distinct, slightly medicinal/citrus scent. While refreshing to some, it may be irritating if you have a high sensitivity to added fragrance.
• Tingling Sensation: If your skin barrier is compromised or you are very sensitive, you might feel a slight sting. It’s a potent exfoliant, not a soothing toner.
• Price Point: Compared to basic drugstore toners, Medicube sits at a premium. You are paying for the convenience of the pre-soaked formulation and the specific patented ingredients.

Great product, great price!
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
These toner pads have been amazing for my skin! They leave my face feeling incredibly smooth, refreshed, and clean, and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in texture and overall glow. I especially love using them while removing my makeup because they make my skin feel extra fresh and clean afterward. I do notice they leave a slight semi-dry/tight feeling on my skin at first, but once I rinse and apply moisturizer, my skin feels absolutely amazing — soft, balanced, and hydrated. The pads are well soaked, easy to use, and make my skincare routine feel so much more effective. I’ll definitely continue using them! I also feel they work just as great and are not as over priced as so many others out there.

They really do work!
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
I rarely give reviews that aren’t motivated by disappointment, but this is one of them. Medicube makes several products that I use alongside $170 serums and creams, and the Zero Pore Pad is one of them. I love the dual texture, and even after using a pre-cleanser and a “microfolient” face wash (both expensive washes from by Dermologica), the Zero Pore Pad is my ONLY choice for a toner. Compared to the products that go on after using the pads, the pads are incredibly affordable for the results I’ve seen. On the rougher side of the pad, this toner still somehow finds pockets of sebum that are visible on the pad after using as directed. It’s like magic.
I’m on my third container of Zero Pore Pads and I can say, without a doubt, they have had noticeable results on my skin, mostly on my nose and the cheek area around my nose. The size of my pores are now smaller, almost invisible. This is despite the fact that I layer a bunch of serums, creams and a moisturizer at night that I lock in with the peel-off Medicube collagen mask. Despite the weight of it all on my pores, the pads still have worked, and they aren’t harsh like some toners-but if you have very sensitive skin or are on acne medication, go with their milder sister product). I wash my face three times a day due to the ick of polluted air and layers of moisturizer and sunscreen, so I’ve been using these three times a day, but occasionally I use the Koji and Tumeric Pads, which have had no noticeable effect aside from serving as a basic toner.
The application is lovely on all Medicube’s pads with their dual texture, but like the collagen mask these Zero Pore Pads really do work (for me). Because skin varies with age and melanin content, I am a pale white woman (female at birth) of Scandinavian descent so I don’t know if these would have had the same impact on me at age 17, but now they work, really well. I literally have the glass skin K-beauty prizes—I just used the pads and thought I had something on my face because my skin was shining. I love these, try them!

Good toner pad option
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
I like these to use no more than 1-2x a week for my skin. I use them before bed and wake up noticing smoother and more event toned skin. If you use them too often, they can cause redness and irritation, but I have never gotten a rash or a breakout because of them. I will say, they do not exfoliate all your texture away and refine your pores to perfection like the marketing says, but nothing does. The AHA and BHA are the chemical exfoliants and work just like they do in any other product. The pads are very moist and stay saturated in the container as long as you keep the lid shut. Overall, a good toner pad option to be used occasionally in your routine and do not mix with any other actives.

Refreshing Exfoliating Pads for Smoother Skin
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
These exfoliating pads leave the skin feeling noticeably smoother and cleaner after use. They work especially well for oily or combination skin types that struggle with excess sebum, clogged pores, or uneven texture.
I like that the formula combines both natural BHA from white willow bark and AHA ingredients for gentle exfoliation without feeling overly harsh. The pads help remove buildup and excess oil while making pores appear cleaner and more refined over time.
The lavender scent adds a calming and spa-like feel to the skincare routine, and the pads feel soothing instead of irritating during use. The dual-sided design is also helpful since the textured side provides exfoliation while the softer side helps smooth and prep the skin afterward.
Another nice feature is how convenient and quick they are to use after cleansing, especially for busy routines or nighttime skincare.
Minor note: People with very sensitive skin may want to start using them a few times a week first before increasing frequency.
Overall, a refreshing and effective exfoliating pad that helps improve skin texture, reduce excess oil, and leave the skin feeling clean and balanced.
